Show up. Be present. Dive in.
What’s Wave all about?
01
Build Genuine Connections
Meet fellow creatives from all disciplines in a relaxed environment designed to spark real conversations, not just surface-level networking.
02
Expand Your Creative Circle
Bring a friend, meet new ones, and open doors to future collaborations, referrals, and fresh ideas that can fuel your creative work.
03
Strengthen the Community
By showing up, you’re helping create a stronger, more connected creative network — because thriving individually starts with growing together.
Getting Here
Colt Square is centrally located off the Razorback Greenway, between Gregg and College Avenue. You can enter Colt Square via Green Acres Rd. Reference our map for the best place to park, or bike/walk if you don’t want to worry about that.*
Bike
If you bike here, feel free to lean it outside, away from foot traffic.
Walk
If you walk here, even better. Head on in and make yourself at home.
Drive
If you drive here, parking is tight, but we’ve included a helpful parking map.

Sponsoring
All proceeds will benefit our local nonprofit Beaver Watershed Alliance.
Beaver Watershed Alliance works to protect and sustain the water quality of Beaver Lake and its tributaries through education, planning, and hands-on conservation efforts. The lake and its rivers provide drinking water, wildlife habitat, and recreation for over 500,000 people in our region. By engaging the community through volunteer projects and outreach, the Alliance helps everyone play a part in keeping Northwest Arkansas’s waters clean and healthy.
Frequently asked questions
Who is this event for?
Anyone who considers themselves a creative—writers, filmmakers, painters, sculptors, musicians, designers, photographers… all are welcome (even if you’re aspirationally creative). No need to be a professional creative either!
What should I expect? Is there a schedule?
WAVE is a laid-back evening of good conversation and creative energy. Come hang, meet people, and see where the night goes.
Should I bring anything?
Nope, just bring yourself.
Will there be food & drinks?
Yes! We’ll have some light snacks and drinks to keep things social. 21 and older for alcohol.
What time to show up/leave?
It runs from 7–9pm, but it’s super casual. Drop in whenever and stay as long (or as short) as you’d like.
Is there a cost?
No, it’s free.
Do I need to RSVP?
Not at all. It’s an open door event. But do if you can — it helps for us to have a general headcount.
Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely. Bring a friend (or two).
How often do you host this?
We currently aim for hosting one WAVE event per quarter. Keep an eye out for invites on the Trout Media (@troutmedia) and BLK ELK (@blkelkco) channels on social media.
What if I’m new to the area or don’t know anyone?
Totally fine. We do our best to make introductions and connect you with people that have shared interests or experiences.
Will there be opportunities to share my work or projects?
There’s no formal “show and tell,” but conversations naturally lead to creative talk. Feel free to chat about what you’re working on.
